King Lucius Velchious Turan is the leader of the Kingdom of Turan.
The King suffered from a long illness that left him bedridden, leaving his daughters Liliana il Graziosco Merlo Turan and Millia il Velch Cutrettola Turan to handle the running of the kingdom.
When an Ades Federation fleet led by Luscinia Hāfez attacked Turan's capital city of Iglasia, King Turan evacuated as many of his people to safety as possible, but remained behind himself. He died when an Exile leveled the city with its tentacle defenses.
Trivia[]
- The only place throughout the series where King Turan's actual name is mentioned is in the letter which Liliana had delivered to him. The name was written in Greek right at the top in the sentence "Dear king Lucius Velchious Turan".
- The letter given to King Turan varies from the subbed version and the dubbed version. The subbed version and the dubbed version don't share the same content. For example, the letter in the subbed version does'nt mention King Turan's real name and mentions statistics of many real world countries which should be impossible since the story takes place in an imaginary world. Besides the rest of the contents are also completely irrelevant to the situation Turan was in. However, the letter in dubbed version reveals the king's name and the contents mention the federation's betrayal and Turan's crises.
