Summary[]

Alexander Row stops the Starfish pursuing Alvis E. Hamilton, killing its pilot with one shot of his gun-cane. Alex gives Claus Valca and Lavie Head payment for completing the job, then takes Al aboard the Silvana and departs.

Claus, concerned for Al's safety, decides to go after her. He patches the bullet damage to his vanship and siphons Claudia from the Starfish to refuel it. Lavie is initially reluctant to the idea, but agrees after realizing Al left behind the stuffed goat.

Using the Guild fuel, Claus and Lavie are able to catch up to the Silvana. Despite being fired upon, they manage to crash-land on the flight deck. They are taunted by the Mechanics, who play keep-away with the stuffed goat. They are rescued by Tatiana Wisla, who gives Claus the goat back before leaving to inform the Emperor that the Silvana has received the cargo.

Claus and Lavie make it to the bridge, then Claus passes out from his injuries.

Synopsis[]

Alex Row takes the unconscious Al into custody and leaves with the “Silvana”. Not wanting to leave Al alone, Claus quickly repairs his damaged vanship and drains fuel from the downed fighter, but Lavie is hesitant about the decision. While in pursuit, they discover that the fuel composition was more pure than what they have used before and suspect that the fighter belongs to the Guild. When Al awakens, the “Silvana”‘s executive officer, Sophia Forrester, greets her as Alvis Hamilton. Claus and Lavie catch up to the “Silvana”, but it opens fire on their vanship as they attempt to board. Short on fuel, Claus is forced to make an emergency landing on the lower deck of the ship as it stops firing. Claus and Lavie make their way to the hangar and find the red vanship they encountered at Minagith. They get into a fight with the flight deck crew, but are stopped by Tatiana Wisla, the vanship’s pilot.
