Lescius Dagobert is the sixty-six-year-old chief engineer of the Silvana.
Lescius was formerly a member of the Guild, but House Dagobert was one of the three Guild houses purged by Delphine Eraclea. As a result, Recuise fled the Guild and joined the crew of the Silvana as chief engineer, operating the renegade ship's stolen Claudia Unit.
Like other members of the Guild, Lescius is interested in playing chess in his spare time and often provides counsel to Alexander Row through the game. He is entrusted with the Mysteria held by his family but hands it to Alex on the eve of the assault against the Guild.
