Based upon the Last Exile Sundaokei No Tabibito manga, I've come to the following conclusion.
Looks like the Guild fell apart into separate groupings upon the death of Farahnāz Augusta, their Maestro (both her and her daughter, do have that Guild look about them, use of cosmetics not withstanding).
Some ended up following Luscinia Hafez, considering the number of Guild personnel he had under his command (who must've served the Augusta before that), others must've gone with Uroctea and Aranea, considering the size of their operation (which included a Guild cloning/breeding center). There also appears to be no ties between them and the Ades Federation, considering how ignorant the latter were about the people from the United Kingdom of Anatoray-Disith. If there had been ties, they would've had more information about them.
This does leave open the possibility, that there are more Guild groups still active on Earth, even post the Ades Civil War.
Although why their loyalty didn't transfer over to Sārā Augusta is beyond me at present. Possibly the Trial of Agoon may play a role in that.
If the Guild had truly dissolved, as is the current claim in this article, than Uroctea and Aranea wouldn't have been doing what they were doing. And the number of people who still have the Guild look, would be far lower due to centuries of interbreeding with the locals, whereas the anime clearly showed that a substantial number still existed, well, prior to them running into Dio that is, after that they were auditioning for the role of the parrot in the Dead Parrot Sketch. ;)
So it makes far more sense that the Guild was the foundation for the Ades Federation, as it would fit with their creed of Dominion over the lesser folks. The worship of the Augusta's is also quite reminiscent of how Delphine Eraclea ran her part of the Guild.
